SUMMARY OF OUR EXPERIENCE
David D. Lentz, Attorney at Law, has over 40 years of legal experience in a wide range of legal areas. This is largely because his career started with a litigation firm that did exclusively trial work in both civil (personal injury) and criminal cases and then he went on to do transactional legal work for the Virginia Housing Development Authority (doing construction and development lending and municipal bond closings) and then again back into private practice during which time he’s handled divorces, child custody, bankruptcy, criminal matters and has represented real estate developers, worked in a personal injury firm and then also served for a few years on the court appointed lists doing criminal trial work in several jurisdictions in Central Virginia. As such he engages in business law, real estate law, bankruptcy and handles a variety of criminal and civil (including family law) litigation and trial matters. He has formed limited liability companies and corporations, handled problem real estate loan workouts, closed commercial real estate transactions and handled construction claims, wills and estate matters as well as litigation including eminent domain and zoning cases. He has appellate experience before the Virginia Supreme Court and the Virginia Court of Appeals. He obtained his law degree from the University of Richmond and holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and has taught accounting, finance and international business as an adjunct instructor at a non-profit fully accredited University.
David D. Lentz is an attorney practicing law in Central Virginia, in jurisdictions including the Cities of Richmond and Petersburg, Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Powhatan, Goochland, Dinwiddie, Prince George, Amelia, New Kent and other counties generally within a 60 mile radius of the City of Richmond.
